This lens includes Nikon's unique defocus control feature, which allows users to selectively defocus wither the foreground or background of the image. As this lens does not feature a built-in AF motor, autofocus will only function on Nikon cameras with the motor built-in - on entry-level DSLR cameras, focusing must be done manually.
